This is a Winchester Model 98 (or 1898) 10-gauge breech-loading signal cannon manufactured by the Bellmore-Johnson Tool Company (also styled Bellmore Johnson) under license from Winchester/Olin. Winchester by Bellmore-Johnson” marking is typical for these post-1975 pieces.
These are popular, high-quality replicas/continuations of the original Winchester signal cannons. They fire 10-gauge blank shotgun shells (black powder or modern equivalents) for signaling, salutes, celebrations (e.g., 4th of July), yacht clubs, or ceremonial use. They are not firearms in the legal sense for most purposes (no projectile), but always check local laws and treat them safely. No FFL transfer required and may be shipped direct in free states.
Cannon appears to be unfired since factory in original wood shipping crate with manual, condition is excellent overall and may need cleaning of packing lube. 10 ga Black Powder blank cartridges are readily available.

   We offer FREE 60-day layaway. Buyer must pay at least 1/3 down, 1/3 Due in thirty days and the final balance due in sixty days.
On all uncompleted layaways, all payments made will be non-refundable. The 60 days begins the day the buyer commits to buying the gun. 90 day layaway is available with 1/2 down, via phone. All layaway sales are final. Layaway is not available on negotiated prices.

RETURN POLICY:. All firearms EXCEPT ANTIQUE FIREARMS come with a 3-day from the time your firearm reaches your receiving FFL. -
NON-FIRING, NON-MESSING-WITH (REMOVING PARTS, MOUNTING OPTICS, CLEANING, DETAIL STRIPPING) inspection / return privilege to cover any issue that was NOT noted in the written description -OR- shown in the photos of the item . Inspection is based on a visual review of the gun to confirm the gun is in the condition stated. The inspection period begins at time of delivery to your dealer. It is your responsibility to inspect the gun in this time frame and inform Ten Below Firearms by phone or e-mail, of any such issue. You MUST get ahold of us before just returning a firearm. In the case of a return, buyer pays all shipping. Please ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing one of our firearms for sale listings.
