This is a fine16 gauge box lock ejector gun made by the Auguste Francotte Co. in Belgium, under contract from the Johan Springer Co. in Austria… The 29" Cockerill Steel barrels are choked imp mod and imp mod. 2 ¾" chambers with excellent bores…Gun is equipped  with precise automatic ejectors…Strong double under lug action with hidden cross bolt… Barrel flats are stamped with post war Belgian proof marks, including star over AF, which is the mark of the Auguste Francotte Co….Barrel flats are stamped with post war Belgian proof marks, including star over AF, which is the mark of the Auguste Francotte Co….Barrel flats are stamped with post war Belgian proof marks, including star over AF, which is the mark of the Auguste Francotte Co….Length of pull is 14". Note, this fine gun is number 2 of a pair, with the initials JP found in gold on the forend…Anybody out there know whereabouts of number 1? 
Also, noted, is  what may be an Id # lightly scratched on the bottom of the frame…This can be removed or left in place, as desired…
