The 28" barrels chambered 2 1/2" are in excellent nick both externally and internally. Very nicely sleeved, basically invisible. I cannot see a line. Rib signed \'W.J. Jeffery & Co Ltd. 9. Golden Square. Regent St. London. W1.\' where the maker operated between 1925 and 1953.

Nice fine English scroll engraved on the action, fences, trigger guard and tang. The latter has \'SAFE\' inlaid in gold. Formerly one of a pair, the number \'1\' is inlaid in gold on the top lever, rib and forend.

Stock dimensions are quite neutral and a good length. The butt pad is done well.
