Description: ENGRAVED Double Barrel by LANDAUER ERDING MUNCHEN Turn of the Century European Shotgun in 16 Gauge! Here we present a Belgian made Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun in 16 Gauge, made circa 1900 in Munich, Germany. This shotgun was made in the Germanic style with a generous cheek piece carved into the walnut stock. The steel has been nicely engraved throughout. The rear of the trigger guard has a segment that acts as a pistol grip, which is made of horn. The barrels and butt stock are equipped with sling swivels. Very nice original case colors remain on the frame and lever. The breech is opened by the swinging lever under the barrels. This would have been a very nice shotgun for upland game in late-19th or early-20th Century Europe! The overall condition is fine. The case colors remain strong. The markings are clear. The walnut stock is in great shape. The bores are bright throughout. The actions are excellent. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 31 inches.
