4 digit serial number FN 7 pin sidelock 16 gauge. 28" F/M. 67MM chambers. If you know what this is, you know it's a not a common piece. On face. Locks up tight. Nice bores. Bluing is thinning in a few places on the barrel and receiver but nothing to be ashamed of. Overall probably 80 percent +- No dings dents in the metal. Gun has NOT been abused. The only things I can really fault on it is the front sight is not original and the stock has had about 1/2 inch ? cut off it. I worked it over a little bit and installed a period correct looking pad so I could shoot it. At the time of posting I don't have the LOP but I'll get it. If I recall I think
its about 13 7/8. Also has some old gouges across the comb, but it matches the rest of the patina, and give it good character. I had a gunsmith completely clean it and oil it about 3 years ago and have shot a lot of grouse in the UP with it and a few pheasants in Wisconsin. You won't be disappointed.
