 Made in 1921, Whitworth fluid pressed steel barrels. Originally #1 of a pair. Superb English rose and scroll executed to the highest level. 2 ½” chambers, rolled trigger guard for right hand, double trigger, automatic ejector, an absolutely fantastic piece of Turkish walnut, splinter forend, perfect drop points, straight grip, leather faced factory pad. In original makers case with oil bottle, snap caps, and some accessories. Perfect bore diameter. Choked IC/F. Wall thickness of .029. This gun is 100% English maintained with renewed case color, barrel blue, and wood finish. Gun has perfect screws; everything is just perfect. Absolutely indistinguishable from a new gun. Gun is an as new gun with no flaws. If you are looking for a 16-gauge Purdey with zero excuses, this would be the gun. Warrantied for life to the original owner courtesy of Connecticut Shotgun.
