Parker Brothers 16 gauge Trojan SxS

Description:
Parker Brothers Trojan Grade 16 gauge SxS shotgun made in 1922.  The entry level to the line of Parker Shotguns was the Trojan.  Mechanically as strong and solid as the higher grade Parkers but short on aesthetics!  Plain frame with only Parker Bros engraved on both sides, utility grade Walnut stock without grip cap and forearm with "snap" on fastenening to the barrel.  

The stock has a length of pull measuring 13 5/8" from the front trigger to the edge of the wood and 14 1/2" from the front trigger to the end of the age hardened recoil pad.

Trojan quality steel for the 28" barrels.  Fine condition bores with 2 1/2" chambers; choked Mod (.015") and Improved Mod (.020").  Double triggers and automatic safety.

The gun weighs 6 lbs. 13 oz.  The metal all appears to have original finishes with 95% barrel blue and no remaining finish on the receiver.  The was lightly sanded and refinished at some point, years ago.  The testimony to the Parker Brothers quality is that this gun is solidly on face and it is ready for its next many years of service.
