Lock plates marked Rob Jeffery with "WJ" for William Jeffery of Dorset England marked on the barrel lug. Smooth , strong back action locks, with rebounging hammers and Jones under-lever. Beautiful straight grained English walnut stock with heavy checkering. Authenic horn forestock tip. Excellent condition through out. Jeffery family ran the gun business from 1847- 1957 when it was accquired by Westly Richards and then sold to Holland& Holland in 1960. Not warrented for shooting.LOP= 14.5".
