Description:
Very fine and rare J.P. Clabrough 8ga from a very fine estate collection. This one a higher grade gun made with 34" Damascus barrels that have fine pattern. Large splinter forend with Deeley latch release which is nicely engraved. Hammers, sidelocks, and frame are all nicely scroll engraved as seen in the photos. Mounted with a nice piece of English Walnut with capped pistol grip and what appears to be its original lined horn buttplate.
Gun is in very nice original condition with more than 95% original damascus pattern. Frame with generous traces of original case color remaining. Buttstock is excellent and sound with great figure. Bores are mostly bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent.
