Leonard was part of a noted British gunmaking family and was working for Purdey before coming to the U.S. in 1928. He teamed up with George Hyde of Griffin & Howe and they made guns for themselves and for the trade for several years. The gun has a delicately engraved case colored receiver, double triggers and a finely checkered straight stock with 15.25"" LOP. Condition is excellent.
