Beautiful Classic 410 Over and Under. Very high quality. Looks like a Winchester 101 or Browning Superposed
Description:
We are a small gun business in the Northeast. I like these litle guns so much i own 3 of them! Although made in the same plant as almost all of the Browning Over and Unders and the BSS side by sides, they more closely resemble the early Winchester 101's with deep relief engraving, well executed checkering and of high quality.
They point and handle about exactly like a Belgian Superposed which in 410 would cost today approx 5k. This gun is being offered for a fraction of that and is approx 1000.00 less than ones exactly like it are being sold for.
It was a quail gun and was hunted but well cared for. It has a number of compression marks on the handsom stock set, but few if any have penetrated the finish. There have been no repairs, or damaged and there are no non factory modifications. There is some light frosting at the muzzle end of the lower barrels and other small imperfections associted with a field gun that has been used. This area is pictured in the last photo....it is the set of barrels at the top of the picture (gun is upside down such that the barrel at the top of the pic is the underside of the lower barrel)
As a classic field gun it is choked (markings indicate) M&F chokes (not common in 410's) Vented rib barrels are 26" and stock LOP is 14 approx. Blue is 85 to 90%. It locks up very tightly and the lever is centered. It has a single selective trigger and H safety exactly like the Superposed and Citori's.
This would be a magnificent little gun to hunt over pointing dogs with and on a skeet field.

As a classic field gun it is choked (markings indicate) M&F chokes (not common in 410's) Vented rib barrels are 26" and stock LOP is 14 approx. Blue is 85 to 90%. It locks up very tightly and the lever is centered. It has a single selective trigger and H safety exactly like the Superposed and Citori's.
This would be a magnificent little gun to hunt over pointing dogs with and on a skeet field.
