This splendid example of a Browning Model 42 is the most faithful and accurate reproduction of the legendary Winchester Model 42. This particular example is a Grade 1, with a 26" vent rib barrel, fixed full choke, and far better wood than most Grade 1 M42s. I've always preferred the Grade 1 guns from this series, as they more closely resemble a Winchester M42 in a deluxe configuration. 

If this shotgun had the original box, I would advertise it as NIB. I cannot find a mark or blemish anywhere on the metal or wood of this gun. There are no obvious signs of use. It handles beautifully in the hand, and would be perfect on the skeet field, sporting clays course, or in the field. Given the thick barrel wall, I'd imagine screw-in chokes would be an option for someone, if they desired, but I've always found this choke to be ideal with the .410.
