J.C. Higgins Model 101.25 -Bolt Action - 410 Ga. Shotgun - Manufactured by Stevens and sold by Sears - Smooth pistol grip walnut stock and forend. Chambered for 2.75 and 3.00 In . ammo. Tubular magazine with 5 round 2.75 in shell capacity. 24 In . long barrel with full chock and a bead sight. Bore is clean and bright. LOP 13-7/8 In. Overall length is 45 In. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Bolt is crisp and tight. Butt plate is in very good condition. Includes a new soft sleeve. Similar to a Stevens model 59 . Known as a real workhorse for putting game on the table from the 1930's to the 1970's . Manufactured from 1931 to 1973.
