The miniature frame engraved with game scenes in a woodland setting and deep relief floral adorn the top bolsters. Double triggers (hinged front), auto ejectors, auto safe. This is the SMALL FRAME action as noted in the Blue Book. The original finish on this 1925 Von Lengerke and Detmold import is something to behold. Vibrant case colors and iridescent blues sparkle with a jewel like quality.
Stock with half-round grip of highly figured black and gold old world walnut measures 1-1/2" comb, 2-1/2" heel, length of pull 14-1/2" to original butt plate.
I am a fan of this boutique maker and have had a several their small bores however never encountered one of these sub size 410's. A coin shown in the photos to give an idea of scale. Simply incredible example of high art gun making.
