An excellent overall condition Winchester Model 42 Pump Field Gun with a 28 inch full choke barrel and 3 inch chamber. Bore and chamber are perfect. Original blue is 95% with only very minor blue wear on the high spots. Stock and forearm are excellent with original finish and only a few minor scuff marks. I would definitely call this a high condition field gun especially since it is so hard these days to find one that has not been monkeyed with in one way or another. This one is right out of an estate, purchased new in 1954 and very well kept since. If you are looking for a very nice non-molested model 42 you just found it......
