High Condition 1901 No. 3 L. C. Smith ejector gun

Description:
The condition of this Smith 12 gauge very early double is not too far off from what it looked like when it came out of the factroy. Very little wear. My limited photo work doesn't always show it off as well as it should. It has been in my collection for over 45 years and is an exellent representative of a No. 3 grade. $4800. donhavelyahoo  Cell  507-602-0664. Here are some specifics:

*  Desirable quail engraving on one lock plate and snipe on the other. The engraving was done by one of Hunter Arms master engravers and there is not a single hitch in the execution of the engraving.

*  The gun is 100% original   No touch-ups

*  Small chip on the butt plate and a small chip and small wood gouge on the grip cap. Some light handling marks on the vanish. The checkering is perfect.

**  Hunter Ams only made 326 number three grades with 28 ince barrels.
