Ithaca Flues 1 1/2 Engraved Grade 12 ga.

Description:
We present  a scarce,  Ithaca Gun co., model Flues 1 1/2 Engraved Grade, 12ga., 30" bbls., SXS  shotgun.  Serial number.     Manufactured circa 1922.  Eleganly Large Leaf engraved. Mechanically excellent.  Lockup is crisp and tight. All features function as they should.  Very good bright bores without pitting.  Original metal finish showingsome use and fading,  but remains
attractive. The stocks are tight without any looseness or issues. No cracks or gouges. Looks like a protective coat of varnish was applied to the stocks long ago.  A viewer suggested Formbys renew refinishing product to remove the varnish, but restore the walnut finish underneath. A rare 1922 Ithaca Flues  1 1/2  needing a little TLC. An excellent field gun and a rare Ithaca for your collection.
