Description:
The Parker Top Lever Hammergun was one of the most advanced shotguns of its time, incorporating a number of then revolutionary designs, from the top lever itself, the tapered locking bolts and the rib extension which itself keys into the receiver. These features allowed the parker shotgun to be held in very high regard and their fantastic quality has kept them relevant for collectors even today. This Parker Damascus Hammergun Grade D2, is in good overall condition, with moderate finish loss and an extension installed onto the buttstock. Internally this gin is likewise in good condition, with a tight lockup and no significant wear to the bores. After inspection, the locks appear to have had some of their springs replaced, however the right mainspring link has snapped, making that lock inoperable until it has been replaced.
