Description:
Parker DHE 12 gauge SxS shotgun.  This DHE is listed in the Parker Book, sn:  170986 as a 12 gauge, automatice ejectors and 28" barrels.  Also this gun is built on the desireabl 1 1/2 frame size.  It also has a Miller Single Selectible Trigger; non-automatic safety; beavertail forearm and straight grip stock.

The 28" barrels have .735" bores with nominal .028" wall thickness, 2 3/4" chambers and choked:  left barrel .005" and right barrel .017".

The length of pull is 14 1/2" over a 1/4" spacer and a 1" Larry Del Grego & Sons recoil pad. 1 9/16" drop at the comb and 2 1/2" drop at the heel with neutral cast.

It would stand to reason that with the Del Grego recoil pad, the gun had some restoration work done on it by Del Grego, but...

The gun weighs 7 lbs. 7 oz and handles well.  Mechanically sound.  Cosmetically the blue is good 95-97% the frame D grade engraving is good and there is 15-20% case colors.  Screws are very good.

The only real "apology" that I have for this gun is that even after cocking if you remove the forearm the ejector hammers will "fall". Then to reassemble manually cocking the ejector hammers makes assembly much easier!
