Description: General Specs: Springfield Arms, 1925-1959, .410 Bore, 6lbs. 11oz., Chokes IM/F, LOP 14 1/2", DAH 2 1/2", DAC 1 7/16" Serial Number: E7700 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this beautiful Springfield No.315, serial number E7700. The model 315 was manufactured by Stevens Arms & Tools Co between 1915 and 1959 in various gauges, the .410 bore being introduced in 1925. This example shows 100% bluing on the restored barrel and 98% case color on the action. The bores are mirror and choked IM/F. Interestingly the barrel is roll-marked .410 GAUGE! The wood on this model is stunning and would not look out-of-place on a high-end sporting gun, lots of figure and perfect hand cut checkering with mullered boarders. What an endearing gun!
