Truly a spectacular example of the Parker Reproductions A-1 Special 28ga. This gun built with 26" & 28" barrels - The 26" barrels are Improved Cylinder/Modified and the 28" barrels are Modified/Full. Gun has finely fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engine turned iron. Frame is beautifully engraved and case hardened as seen in the photos. Gun made with gold plated SST, auto ejectors, auto safety. The beautifully figured capped pistol grip walnut buttstock is finely checkered and terminates with its original skeleton buttplate. Gun is housed in its factory original oak and leather case with original canvas cover.
The gun remains as new with all original finishes remaining. Mechanics are perfect. Bores are brilliant. Case is near excellent.
This is easily the single nicest sub-gauge A1 I've had the privilege of handling and this is a gun with a very bright future as both an investment quality collectible and usable asset.
