A licensed copy of the venerable Mossberg 500, the New Haven 600CT is a pump-action shotgun that is actually made by the Mossberg company under a different brand and sold in department stores—notably Montgomery Ward stores. These shotguns are compatible with Mossberg 500 parts and are a well-proven and tested design appropriate for all types of applications. This piece for sale is a 1976-made 600CT chambered in 20 gauge. The barrel is able to accept up to 3" shells and measures 28" long with a fixed full choke. The gun's furniture is made of a walnut-colored hardwood and has no checkering on the stock's pistol grip and some basic textured grip grooves cut into the forend. The metal surfaces on this gun wear their original finishes and are largely in good condition, with mild signs of use throughout. The wood on the gun has no major damage or defects, just light indentations and finish scratches from handling over the years. The barrel is in great condition, with no rust, pitting, or corrosion. This shotgun does not include a box or case, and would make a great, reliable pump gun for a budget-friendly price! 20 Gauge
