In excellent condition the barrel and action show about 90-95% of a fading and slightly mottled blue finish. The hardwood stock is excellent and sports the original J.C. Higgins marked rubber butt pad that has dried out. The action functions smoothly and cycles shells properly. A great example of these utilitarian shotguns. FFL or C&R
