Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. A Francotte SxS - 12 Ga - Antique
Description: Here is a classic Belgian Shotgun. It was crafted by A. Francotte and is an antique as it was made pre-1898. This shotgun is chambered for 12 ga 2.5" shells and weighs 6 lbs 13 oz. on my postal scale.. The Damascus barrels are 29" and are choked 17.6 and 18. The LOP is 13" to the rear trigger and 14" to the front. The butt pad is loose and likely needs replacing anyway. The bores are clean and shiny and show no visible pitting or rust. This gun has extractors. The drop at heal is approximately 2-3/8", the cast is about 1/4" for a right hand shooter, there are a few very mnior dings that show on the inside of the bore due to the very shiny condition which reveals all differences in the reflected light. These are minor and are hard to find on the exterior of the barrels. The action locks up tighht and is very smooth with the lever snapping to just a tiny bit to the left of center.
