Auguste Francotte made guns to order, and with its unique swamped rib and lighter than normal 5.13lb weight, this gorgeous 12b Francotte appears to be a special-order gun for the European market. Overall, it is in very condition, save for faded case colors and some barely visible ripples from dent removal about ¾ down the inside of each barrel. No dents or dings visible on outside. The 27" barrels have been expertly re-blacked with new silver bead. Bores are near excellent, with 2.5" chambers choked im/f. Action tightened and on face. The stunning deep relief oak leaf engraving really stands out, along with the engraved fences. Wood is in excellent shape with no cracks internally or externally to original butt plate.
FFL/C&R required, $50 UPS ground shipping to lower 48, and any applicable sales tax, AK and HI extra.
