Neumann & Co, 10 gauge side by side, Liege , Belgium
Description:
Last price drop, going back in safe for grandkids otherwise!
This is a Neumann & Co, of Liege, Belgium, 10 gauge side by side imported by Silver & Co of San Francisco, California. It was made in 1954. The barrels are 32 inches long, each choked full, 3.5 inch chambers with dual beads atop a ventilated rib. There are side clips and a cross bolt lock up for extra stability. It has automatic ejectors and an auto-safety. The lever is centerline and the lock up is solid and tight. The action (which is greyed), trigger guard, tangs and barrels are hand engraved in a simple scroll pattern. The fences are carved. The wood is English or French walnut with some figure. There is a Pachmayr recoil pad and an unused stock oval. There is the tiniest hint of a crack at the comb just rear of the safety (see picture). The gun is in excellent overall condition with some minor marks on the stock. The metal and bores are clear. I would rate at 95-98%. The dimensions: LOP 14 ½, drop at heel 2, drop at comb 1 3/8 with cast of zero. The gun weighs 11lb 2oz. I have used this gun on ducks and geese. It reaches out! It would be a great turkey gun out of a blind for those unconvinced gobblers. I will include 7 boxes of 10 gauge (10 rounds) with purchase: 4 of Bismuth BBs, 3 boxes of Federal turkey loads; 1 each of #4,5,6 shot. I will ship these seperately at my expense once you have taken delivery and have decided to keep the gun. This gun will ship from my local shop as I do not have a FFL. Set shipping and insurance of $50 to be paid by the buyer. Sales within the United States only. There is a 3 day inspection with refund of purchase price upon return of gun in verified pre-sale condition. Return shipping and insurance (required) will be at buyer’s expense. Upon sale I will give instructions for sending signed copy of FFL holders license and payment instructions. Gun will be shipped upon receipt of money order, USPS money order or certified check. Thank you for looking!
