Description:
This beauty has been in our family for the past 70 years. The only manufacturers mark is on the barrel and is partially hidden by the stock. Visible is the right hand Side of the circle of the Belgium mark showing a capital E on the top and a capital G on the bottom. Very nice scroll work can be seen on the trigger guard and the top of the butt plate. Also beautiful etching in the stock. The ram rod is missing and initials have been scratched inside the trigger guard...see pix. When storing this gun in my safety deposit box I had to take the butt plate off and replaced the original screws with new ones...see pix.
