Browning Belgium Superposed 20 gauge O/U shotgun made in 1951, the third year of production. 28” barrels with raised solid rib, the chokes are marked M/F but they measure SK/M at .005” and .015” respectively and standard (bright) bores of .615”; chambered for 2 ¾” shells.
Single selective trigger, non-automatic safety. Long tang, round knob configuration. The stock has a 14 1/4” LOP over the original horn butt plate, with 1 ½” DAC and 2 3/8” DAH with a slight right-hand cast.
The gun weighs 6 lbs. 7 oz. and balances nicely between the hands.
All finishes are original both metal and wood at some time. The metal has 95% blue. The about the same at 95% with some very light handling marks as you would expect on a 71-year-old gun.
There are many, many more years of upland bird hunting left in this classic Superposed.
