28" BARRELS, CYLINDER AND IMPROVED CYLINDER, 2-1/2", DOUBLE TRIGGERS, STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, SCORED HARD RUBBER BUTTPLATE, 5 LBS - 11 OZ, 1-1/2" DAC, 2-1/8" DAH, 14-3/8" LOP

English made 20 gauge boxlock ejector game shotgun. The 28” blacked steel barrels that are fit with ejectors, 2-1/2” chambers, tapered smooth concave game rib with a brass bead front sight and are choked Cylinder and Improved Cylinder. Top of rib near breech is roll marked "CHAS. OSBORNE & CO 2. GT SCOTLAND YARD. LONDON." Barrel flats have Birmingham nitro proof marks. Coin finish boxlock action is adorned with English Arabesque scroll engraving with "CHAS OSBORNE & CO" in banner on both sides of the action body. The action body is fit with double triggers protected by blacked and engraved trigger guard which extends to an engraved long botton strap, the left side thumb piece of the blacked engraved top lever is checkered, "SAFE" engraved ahead of the automatic blacked, scored safety slide. Best quality European walnut stock with straight hand grip, English flat top checkering and an engraved stock oval. Splinter fore-end with matching checkering and Deeley type lever release, 14-3/8" LOP to a scored hard rubber buttplate, 5 Lbs. - 11 Oz. Gun lives in associated single leather trunk case.
