Fine BAYARD 12 Ga. double barrel from around 1910
Description: This is an excepionally well built double barrel shotgun with exposed hammers, and fluid steel barels. This shotgun has been very well cared for over the years, with a mirror bore, and a few scattered marks in the stocks. The stocks have been lightly refinished to a smooth feel, and very good remaining factory checkering. The gun opens to a nice snug fit, and closes tightly, with non selective extractors. The barrels measure 29 1/2". The gun has sling lugs, and a cheekpiece typical of better quality guns of this time period. The original butt plate is intact, and in great shape as well. The condition of this shotgun is as good as you could ever hope to find one of this age, with some game scene engraving too boot. $3200.00 by Postal Money Orders, or another form of Certified funds.
