J Harkom & Son Boxlock Ejector with 30" Steel Barrels and Great Engraving - cased
Description: Great looking and shooting boxlock ejector from one of Scotland's best gunmakers. Harkom had a very distinct shape of frame and in particular the fences.The frame is extensively engraved with curved serpentine fences.It has double triggers and weighs 7lb 2oz.The 30" nitro steel barrels have auto ejectors , are chambered for 2 1/2 " cartridges and are topped by a raised solid concave game style rib. Gold inlaid safety. The bluing is excellent. The left barrel is bored 0.727 and has a constriction of 0.013 for Improved Cylinder choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.034. The right barrel is bored 0.727 with a constriction of 0.006 for Skeet choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.032. Great for game or clays ! The straight grip stock and splinter forarm are made of nicely figured walnut. The checkering is crisp. Stock dimensions are 15 - 1/4" over a 1" pad.Cast off for the right hand shooter. The gun is fitted to a modern toe under case, with all cleaning components and snap caps included. The price includes 3 boxes of Willian Larkin Moore loaded size 7 1/2 shotshells ( plastic) and two boxes of RST number 5 shot shells ( Paper) Buyer is responsible for actual shipping and insurance.
