Description:
Entering the market and getting into the hands of hunters first in 2009, the Browning Maxus has seen success at the clays range and in the field for years as Browning's flagship autoloading shotgun. The Maxus shotgun runs on Browning's Power Drive gas-operated system for operation in diverse conditions and is known to be a bit cleaner than other operating systems. This first-generation Maxus is built on an aluminum receiver and also features a magazine cutoff lever for manual feeding and manual control of cycling. The shotgun features a chrome chamber for longevity and lubricity, as well as a nickel-plated bolt. The Browning Maxus has a Browning Inflex 1 rubber buttpad with hard insert for stability and a ventilated textured rib with green fiber optic front sight atop its 28" barrel. This Maxus is marked to accept Invector Plus choke tubes. This shotgun is completely finished in Mossy Oak's Duck Blind camouflage pattern. It also features a Browning-signature gold-plated trigger. This shotgun has certainly seen some use, as evident by the dirtied buttpad and visible wear inside the barrel and chamber. However, there is no rust or pitting in the shotgun and the gun seems to be in very good condition, even for a slightly older Maxus. The shotgun includes a Browning hard case, stock shims, spare fiber optic pipes, set of chokes (cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full, extended modified), and user manual. 12 Gauge
