Jana, Belgium 10 Gauge Magnum
Description: Jana, Belgium 10 Gauge Magnum manufactured in 1957 with 31 3/4" F/F extractor barrels with raised file cut rib and brass front bead. Excellent mirror bright bores remain as new. Chambers are 3 1/2" and proved 10-89. French Gray reinforced reciever with Greener crossbolt and sideclips. Reciever has 70% coverage of leaf and scroll engraving with deep Acanthus leaf on the fences. Double triggers. Pistol grip buttstock. LOP is 14 1/2" to a Silver's type pad. DAC-1 1/2" DAH-2 1/2" 11lb 9oz Beavertail forend with Anson push button release. This gun shows very little signs of use. It remains very tight. Barrels ring with a pronounced chime. Barrel and trigger guard blue remains at 97% Slight handling dings and scuffs on the stock especially near the toe on the bottom as pictured. This is a quality early Post-War Belgium 10 Gauge Magnum. All of these early Belgium 10 Gauge guns that I have seen have been of much better quality than the Spanish crap that flooded the market in the 60' and 70's. Mechanically like new and needs to be used. It will certainly be good for another 60 years. SOLD |
