Beretta’s Ultraleggero Under/Over Shotgun combines elegance with utility, and offers the exclusive features that Beretta shotguns are known for. The Ultraleggero is exceptionally lightweight – weighting roughly the same are an aluminum-action shotgun – but delivers the strength and reliability akin to that of a steel-action shotgun. The low weight of the Ultraleggero can be attributed to a skeletonized receiver, as well as state-of-the-art engineering techniques, and optimized structural elements. The weight-saving features include an increased cavity in the stock, reducing weight by 129 grams when compared to other shotguns of the same size, and a select wood that features a reduced weight and density to achieve perfect balance. Weight is reduced even further thanks to an Extralight recoil pad which features a closed-cell structure, making it 30% lighter than other recoil pads, as well as providing greater resistance to abrasion and liquid absorption.
