The receiver and the vent rib barrel retain about 99% 0f the original factory blue. There are a few slight scratches, but no rust or pits anywhere. The beautifully grained walnut stock and forearm retain about 98% of the original lacquer. There are some surface scuff marks and some small lacquer chips on the top edges of the forearm. The butt stock is fitted with the original Remington rubber buttplate The loading gate, bolt face and feed ramp and bolt rails show very little use. The bore like the rest of the gun is super clean with no rust or dents. Just a very practical gun at a practical price........$495.
