Antique Engraved Percussion Double Barrel 16 ga nice condition and shootable after a gunsmith check
Description:
Here is a nice old percussion double from the 1800s. Lots of engraving and inlays. Locks work perfectly, holding on both notches. If I remember correctly the bores are in good shape but I can't find my drop-in bore light (not any of the other half dozen I've lost). 16 ga. Wood is in good condition with much original finish. "London" marked on the rib. Metal buttplate. I bought this with the intention of bird hunting but we don't really have any gamebirds around here except sharptails which don't get very positive reviews from those who've eaten them. Have it checked by a gunsmith and if it's not in shooting shape, send it back. The newer nipples would seem to indicate that it's been shot in more recent times than the 1800s. $50 shipping and insurance to your door in most states.NO TEXTS
