This is a very nice early top lever12ga hammer gun built by W&C Scott. Weighs in at over 7.3 pounds. 30" fancy damascus barrels choked full and full with lots of pattern still quite visible. Bores are excellent. Lots of case color remains on the handsomely engraved sidelock action. C shaped, elegant hammers accompany highly engraved top lever and fences. Wood and checkering are as nice as the rest of the gun, but do show some handling marks and gouge on the forend (see pictures). 14 1/8" LOP to the horn buttplate. Drop is 2" and 3 3/8". Gun is very tight and all the numbers match. Built in 1885, ships directly to your front door for $2000 plus shipping with no FFL required. Overall a very fine and lightweight early Scott hammergun.
