Description: Birmingham sleeved nitro proofed vintage game gun with 26 inch blued steel barrels. 2-1/2 inch chambers with ejectors. Tapered concave rib with small round brass front bead and dolls head extension at breech. Rib reads "W.R. LEESON, ASHFORD, KENT & 29 MADDOX St. LONDON W." Barrel flats stamped with proofs, "20", "2 1/2", "CHOKE" and "3 TONS". Choked Improved Modified and Modified. Barrels retain most of their blue with just minor handling mars. Bright bores. Sidelock action engraved with light floral scroll and "W.R. LEESON" in very good condition. Triggers and ejectors are mechanically fine. Straight grip checkered stocks are in very good condition. Minor well done repair to the left side of the splinter forend is barely visible. 14-1/4 inch LOP. DAC 1-3/8 inches. DAH 2 inches. Weight is 5 pounds 9 ounces. Complete with a vintage oak and leather case with paper trade label, turn screw cap, snap caps and oil bottle. Manufactured in 1904.
