20Ga. Boxlock Ejector by William Cashmore
Description: 20 gauge boxlock ejector by William Cashmore. built in the 1920s, this little gun has 28" fluid steel barrels choked improved cylinder (.010") and modified (.017"). The bores are minit and free of any rust, dents,or pitting. The barrels are proved for 29/16" chambers. (234") and 1 oz of shot. A bit unusual for an English 20,but very serviceable for U.S. shooters. The barrels are on face and lock up to the action with no play. The barrels retain 98% of the original blue. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The stock has a 14"LOP over a leather faced recoil pad. The receiver has light scroll engraving and the makers name engraved on each side. The receiver has a nice silver patina. The ejector are timed and strong and the triggers break cleanly. This would make a wonderful walking bird gun for grouse, pheasants,or quail. It would also be deadly in the dove fields. C&R eligible.
