This gun was expertly sleeved and refreshed in 2003 in The UK and the barrels were proofed for modern 2 3/4" nitro shells. Everything remains in excellent condition since the refresh with a few light handling marks from use. I cannot find any information on gunmaker J. Landon so either he was a small provincial gunmaker or a retailer, either way the gun is extremely high quality.

Classic English best quality hammergun with full coverage rose & scroll engraving and a stunning figured walnut stock, if you are looking for a hammergun for game/clays shooting that can use modern shells without issue this one would be hard to improve upon.
