Description:
A classic Best Quality sidelock ejector game gun by Arthur Turner of Sheffield England. This gun has 28" chopper lump barrels choked improved cylinder (.005") and modified (.020"). Proved at 11/8 oz originally and reproved for 850 bars to meet EU specs. MInimum wall thickness is .030"and chambers are 21/2". . A fine set of barrels for modern ammo.The receiver is fully engraved with English scroll. The straight grip stock is dark high quality European walnut. The stock dimensions are 141/2":LOP over a leather covered pad, 11/4" at comb,and 21/4" at heel with 1/4" cast off. The gun weighs 6-8 and balances on the hinge. The gun is cased in an oak and leather case. This is a great all around upland bird gun. Built in the late 1920s so it is C&R eligible.Price includes shipping to your ffl.
