Description:
C.G Bonehill was a well known Biringham maker of english doubles.
Gun is birmingham nitro proofed for 2 1/2" shells 7/8 oz load. RST make a lovely 3/4oz load at a v affordable price which is perfect for this gun.
Dimensions are good LoP to leather pad extension to 14 5/8 or to wood 13 1/4 so easily customizeable to any specific length.
Stock has been repaired a long time ago at the neck per photos but well completed so nothing to worry outside of cosmetics.
Gun must have been stored damp at some point as pitting is visibile on the exterior to barrels towards the left hand barrel chamber (again cosmetic).
The gun locks up tight has a cross bolt so nice and strong and the bores are nice and bright with no signs of piting.
This is no cabinet queen but if your looking for a 20 gauge double you can carry all day in the field or woods not have to worry about scatching or denting it then this would fit the bill.
