English J. Venables Boxlock Side by Side in 12 Ga, a classic English sporting gun built with 28" barrels, 2 1/2" chambers, and a solid rib. It features a Straight English stock and a two-choke setup (Left: Full; Right: IC) for versatile field performance.

Dating to 1949 in United Kingdom, this Boxlock Side by Side features a Straight English stock with LOP 14 1/2", DAC 1/14", DAH 2 3/8", and is chambered in 12 Ga with 28" barrels and 44 1/2" overall length. The top rib is engraved "J. VENABLES & SON ST. ALDATES, OXFORD". Overall condition is very good, with some handling marks on the wood as to be expected for it's age. Barrels have some negligible surface corrosion on the underside. Well executed scroll engraving on the receiver and fence. Silver bead sight. Smooth break action. It is licensed for FFL.
