Fred Willaims LONDON 12 GA boxlock shotgun 3inch and so marked on water table. two barrel set nice bores and finish
marked "THE COLONIAL"
English, London and Birmingham
longer set of barrels is 31 inches shorter set is 27,very heavy barrels
chokes longer set modified and improved modified,short set chokes cyl and cyl
nice newish leather case that it fits
This is a heavy beast of a gun in a beautiful leather case
DOC 1 5/8",DOH 1 7/8" LOP 15"
recoil pad is done ,needs replacement
Nice dense figured wood ,nice engraving of gun dog and game,scrollwork in very good condition,checkering somewhat worn
I asssume this was a fowler but what a turkey gun it would be also!

this looks to be a prime example of a late live pigeon gun! Also to me besides the heavy weight of the gun, the 3" chambers the small engraving on the bottom of the action body look to be pigeons! If it is this would be a rare gun in great shape! Thank u for bringing this beautiful piece of forgone British history to our attention!
