Excellent condition, light wear and handling marks, comes with hard case. G. E. Lewis & Sons boxlock double barrel shotgun chambered in 28 gauge. The Birmingham firm of G.E. Lewis & Sons established a fine reputation on both sides of the Atlantic for producing excellent wildfowling guns. This 28 gauge shotgun has 28 inch barrels, finely engraved on each side, blacked fluid steel barrels with concave rib signed "G.E. LEWIS & SONS. 65 PRICE STREET. BIRMINGHAM". Case hardened and signed "G.E. LEWIS & SONS" on each side, with blued toplever and safety with gold inlaid "SAFE". Border and scroll engraving throughout. Well figured stock with checkered panels for the grip and forearm with a push button release, and a checkered wood butt plate. 28 Gauge
