30" BARRELS, IMPROVED CYLINDER AND IMPROVED CYLINDER, 2-1/2", DOUBLE TRIGGERS, STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, CHECKERED BUTT, 6 LBS 9 OZ, 1-3/8" DAC, 1-3/4" DAH, 14-5/8" LOP

Sidelock ejector 12 gauge game gun with 30" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked improved cylinder & improved cylinder. The right barrel is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" while the left barrel is marked "98 NEW BOND STREET LONDON". The coin finished action body and lockplates are adorned with Bouquets and Foliate Scroll engraving. Both lockplates are engraved "HOLLAND & HOLLAND". Gold number 2 upon the top lever, rib near breech and forend tip.The action is fit with a blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by an engraved trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with serial number. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand diamond grip, drop points, vacant stock oval and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 14-5/8" LOP to a checkered butt, 6 Lbs. - 9 Oz. Gun resides in a single leather case.
