28" BARRELS, CYLINDER AND FULL, 2-1/2", DOUBLE TRIGGERS, STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, CHECKERED BUTT, 6 LBS - 6 OZ, 1-3/4" DAC, 2-1/4" DAH, 15-1/2" LOP

Scottish made boxlock ejector 12-gauge game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib with spade shaped extension and a brass bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked Cylinder & Full. Barrel flats are stamped with original Birmingham nitro proofs and Birmingham 2010 re-proofs for 2-1/2″ chambers. The rib is roll marked: "J. GRAHAM & CO 27 UNION ST INVERNESS" The faded case color hardened finished action body with blacked bottom cover plate is adorned with fine English Arabesque Scrolls and 'J. GRAHAM & CO' in a banner on both sides of the action body. The number '1' is engraved on the top lever, rib near breech and fore-end escutcheon. The scalloped-back screw-grip boxlock action is fitted with a spade shaped rib extension third fastener, a blacked engraved top lever with the number '1' engraved inside an oval and "SCREW GRIP" in a radius at front of lever, left side of the thumbpiece checkered and an automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the scored and lightly engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by a blacked engraved trigger guard ending in a long, blacked and engraved bottom strap. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, checkered stock panels, fine checkering, vacant stock oval, 1-1/4" wooden stock extension and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release with an engraved escutcheon and diamond. 15-1/2" LOP to a checkered wooden stock extension, 6 Lbs. - 6 Oz.
