Excellent, near new cosmetic condition gun with excellent bores, bores measure .730 in both, minimum barrel wall thickness is .023 and .025, gun is tight and on face and in proof, gun likely has been through a complete restoration of finishes including a restock, blue and case colors remain at or near 100%, almost no wood handling marks. Gun was imported into the US by Woodcock Hill, we sold the gun to the current owner a decade ago in same condition and was unused by the owner. These 2" chambered 12 bores were predominately made in the decade leading up to WWII with very few ever made after the war. Made on 20 bore actions, they were very lightweight and fast handling. Very few were made by London makers with most being boxlocks from the Birmingham trade. Beloved by grouse hunters. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Shotgun Gauge: 12 Gauge |
