Stephen Grant Side Lever 12 Bore with 30 1/4

***SOLD***Stephen Grant & Sons 12 bore side lever hammerless ejector game gun with 30 ¼” Damascus barrels. The gun is choked improved cylinder and modified. Length of pull of 14 7/8”to a 5/16” horn butt plate.

Straight English stock, double triggers on a square bar action with 7-pin locks, auto safety, removable striker discs, slightly raised smooth concave rib, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the safety catch, drop points, checkered wrist and forend with mullered borders, fluted fences, and a vacant silver oval on the toe line. Gun 2 of a pair with “2” engraved on the top rib, bottom strap, and the inside of the forend iron. Circa early 1890s gun with London nitro proofs for 2 ¾” chambers.

Engraved with small scroll. Case color hardened action and blued furniture. The action has silvered. Excellent overall condition. Both the well figured walnut stock and checkering in excellent condition as refinished with some scratches on the stock. Excellent bores and excellent barrel finish and Damascus pattern. The gun remains on face and ejectors are in time.
