This elegant 20-gauge boxlock shotgun, bearing serial number 7683, is a testament to the craftsmanship of C.G. Bonehill, a renowned Birmingham gunmaker active from 1872 until 1965. While specific serial number records for Bonehill firearms are scarce, the low serial number suggests this piece was likely manufactured in the early 20th century, possibly between 1900 and 1910 .
